STUFFED PEAS IN POTATO PATTIES



Ingredients

4 Potatoes
3 tbsp green peas
1 onion [chopped finely]
5 cashew [chopped finely]
1 tbsp sesame seeds
1 tsp pepper powder 
1/2 tsp chilly flakes 
2 tbsp cornflour powder 
1 tbsp rava 
Salt to taste 
Olive oil to shallow fry or deep fry - as you wish

Method

1. Boil the potatoes in a pressure cooker.


2. Meanwhile, pour 1/2 spoon of oil in a pan and roast the cashews and sesame seeds


3. Add peas to the above mixture and saute for a minute. Also add pepper powder & salt and set aside.

4. Mix cornflour, rava, chilly powder and a pinch of salt together in a small bowl ans set aside.

5. Peel the boiled potatoes & mash them. 


6. Add chopped onions and salt to the mashed potato

7. Take a small portion of the mashed potato-onion and make a small ball. Now flatten it with your hand.

8. Take 1 tbsp of the peas, cashew and sesame mixture, place it on the flattened potato mash and make it into a ball shape again. 



9. Now roll the balls in cornflower mixture and slightly flatten the ball and make patties.


10. Refrigerate the patties for ½ an hour.

11. Deep or shallow fry as you wish.

 12. Serve hot with chilli or tomato sauce.
